1895 MAYO'S CUT PLUG N300

Issued in 1895 by the Mayo Tobacco Works, this is an extremely rare and desirable set. However, these cards are some of the toughest to find in strong condition mainly because they were printed on brittle paperboard stock. A total of 48 cards are in this set.

The N300 cards were packaged inside the large metal “lunchpail” tins of Mayo’s Cut Plug Tobacco. These pails are quite common to find and are usually pretty inexpensive (depending, of course, on the condition of the tin).

Approximate value of a Mayo's Cut Plug "Lunchpail" tin would be $65.00.
