Issued by the S.F. Hess Company of Rochester, NY in 1888, this set includes players from four teams; the New York Giants, New York Mets, St. Louis, and Detroit. Cards are extremely hard to locate and are very valuable. It is one of the most obscure pre-1900 issues of baseball cards around.

As with the N333 and the N338-1 set, the N338-2 cards were packaged inside the less ornate Creole Cigarette boxes. However, this Creole box is equally as rare as the more ornately designed one.

Approximate value of an empty box would be $400.00+.
